Executive summary:
Remember that an Executive Summary of a report is just that, a summary. It contains a statement of report purpose and an overview of the actual and specific findings. Generally, it should be no longer than one page and does not count towards the word limit of your report. The Executive Summary can only be written after you have completed your report. Write in past tense (e.g. The purpose of this report was to …). If an Executive Summary is well written the reader should be able to understand the main points, findings, and conclusions of the actual report without having to read the full report. 2.0 My Career
1. Describe how you visualise your perfect graduate position and broader career in 1–2 paragraphs. Critically evaluate how your descriptions compare and contrast with the literature covered in this unit relating to definitions of careers, career management and career success (Topic 1). Do not use dictionary or Wikipedia definitions in this discussion. Instead, you should be evaluating the descriptions contained in academic writings such as your Readings.
2. Name the industry sector that you wish to pursue for your internship and/or graduate role and refer to Appendix A which will contain your database of potential employers.

3.0 Goal setting
1. Setting goals (both short- and long-term) is important in career planning. Challenging, but realistic, goals can have powerful positive influence on career success. 2. Identify a goal setting theory (model) or motivation theory and discuss how it may be useful to assist you in achieving your career goals.
3. In this section sum marise the five most important learning/career goals that you wish to achieve within the next 10 years. Refer to Appendix B which will contain detailed information about these five goals.

The youth of this generation is said to be struggling hard to reach the top position in their careers so that they can fulfill their dreams. Everyone dreams of a lavish life with a good house in a Porsche neighborhood and a good job in a reputed company. I think the same and hence I want to give my hundred percent in whatever I do. It was very difficult to understand what career options I want to narrow down before deciding that this is what I want to do. In my opinion, a person can excel in life if he/she can identify how they can make a living by doing what interests them the most. Confucius has enlightened all of us by his famous saying which says that if we love what we do then there will not be a single in our life that will make us feel that we are working. (Coombs, 2015) It would be a fun day every day. However I also agree that only identifying what you love doing will not help you achieve success, but great planning can do that for sure. It is very important for us to find someone who would pay us to do what we love doing. It is also very important for us to analyze what goals we have in our lives. This would help in achieving what we want and once we get what we desire, we can experience one thing, after which all of us are running, and it's called Happiness.

MY CAREER

A person should choose his/her career wisely because it is very important for a person to love what they do. My ideology is that if I am enjoying what I am doing that no one can beat me. I wish to make my career in writing. I have given a lot of thought to this before I pen it down. I love to read and know about things and when I do so I always write that down in a diary so that I could use it for future purposes. This is where I want to take my career. I want to write about things. I enjoy it when I am writing and it gives me satisfaction. I think that if I take writing as a career then I would always be passionate about doing my job. I will find new innovative ways through which I can enhance my writing skills, or probably find new subjects about which I could write, find out new species and write about them, unveil the historical events and so much more. There is an ocean of subjects out there that have never been discussed. I would like to jump into that ocean and find out subjects that have never been brought up. I would do this because I have an interest because I am passionate about writing.
