It shall help me undergo self-evaluation and shall aid in helping me understand where I need to improvise. The five primary learning needs that I have reviewed in this report are time management, academic writing, technology and referencing, memory and critical thinking skills and also overcoming hesitation. Through this assignment, I have made an attempt to link these five learning skills with my own strategies, constraints, and enablers encountered in the process and have tried to gauge the overall outcome of the same. The assignment also aims at helping develop oral communication skills which are indispensable to the world of business.
- Self-Evaluation of my Learning Development in this Unit:
- Time Management
Time management has a crucial role to play in our lives. We are able to do tasks to our full capabilities only if we can manage our time well. It is extremely important to allocate time to work at hand in order to be able to successfully complete it. In order to help myself manage time efficiently, I practiced prioritization (Covey, 1997). I made a tasks-to-do list every morning and allocated time to them based on priority. This helped me in accomplishing the more important desired goals first. Thus, even if I missed out on completing a not-so-important task, the repercussions were minimal.
