Prepare a Performance Review Report which will identify and analyse the key factors (good and/or bad) that contributed to the group’s performance (process and outcome)?

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

There are several factors, which contributed to the successful performance of our group. Those factors can be divided into individual and group factors. Following are those factors:

• Individual factors:

1. Skillset: In order to proper functioning of a group, it is required that the team members must be able to understand the requirements of the project. Now, the level of understanding is an individual aspect, and it varies from one person to another. The level of technical and managerial skills possessed by my group members contributed towards the successful completion of the project. This is one of the key factors, which makes each of our team members a unique one.

2. Leadership skills: Irrespective of the project given to a team, it is required to give a proper direction to that very project, so that the project can be completed within the stipulated time. For that purpose, proper planning and optimum resource allocation are required (Frankel, et al., 2006). The leadership skill of a human being makes a perfect team leader, and because of our team leader, we have been able to complete the project within due time. Moreover, all of the minute details of the project have been addressed, and our leader had given special attention to that aspect.

3. Commitment: In spite of having skills and knowledge, a person can never perform properly, if the person has no commitment towards the job given to that person (Bishop, et al., 2000). My team members are extremely committed to the jobs given to them, and it is their commitment, which has made the compartmentalization of the entire project possible.
