The fact that philosophy answers questions that are related to everyday life make it a useful subject that can answer the questions of our everyday lives. For instance, people often struggle to find happiness, they also want to know about the whole existence of God and people also want to know the various realities of this world, which can all be found through philosophy. Scholars have pointed out that unlike natural science; philosophy is very easy to understand. This is because natural science deals with generalised ideas such as gravity and theory of evolution, which cannot be understood by every person on this earth easily and only the gods can remember these details for every object on Earth. However, with philosophy people can understand simple things in life that answer some basic questions like the meaning of the term friendship, courage, justice, etc (Gill, J.H., 2002).
Additionally, everyday people have to make decisions on certain things, from a simple decision to travel by public transport on a rainy or through own vehicle, to help a friend financially or not to more complex questions like is religion the answer to everything, is Jesus real or what jihadist do is right, philosophy makes the human mind understand their options deeply and helps them to make rational, logical and practical decisions (Honer et al., 2006). The human mind opens up and the perspective broadens with philosophical applications, which is why philosophy is useful in everyday life. Therefore, philosophy makes us think and believe deeply by understanding different perspectives of one situation; it provides meaningful synthesis to our thoughts and actions, thus helping us to understand the society and the world better.
